Surrey farmland

A sunny day tempted us to go out for a pub lunch. We had a long debate as to where to go, and eventually settled on a pub which haven’t been to for very many years. We had heard it had improved and we weren’t disappointed. The young waitress (probably not born when we last went there!) was highly amused when we told her what the place used to be like, we had a good meal, and we will be back.
We chose to take a different route home, firstly driving through farmland and then over Box Hill. The famous view over Dorking was a bit hazy. (Extra)
