Beauty is all around us.

Evening time from our garden.

The Feast Day of Saint Paul Miki, and his companions. Martyrs.

It was cold and frosty this morning, it felt like minus 2c. Gradually, car roofs, house roofs and garden lawns cleared of frost, as the brilliantly dazzling sunshine melted the frost.
I eventually walked to the chemist for my repeat prescription for high blood pressure. I went to the Co op, and then to walk beside CutWood Park to enjoy the cold sunny morning and take a few photos of the beautiful trees. Some had been chopped down. The park was still frosty. I have stayed at home after that.
We learnt from an RSPB online update, that due to diseases that are potentially spread by wild birds eating together at a bird table, it is not a good idea to have a bird table. There are a number of bird diseases, including avian flu, salmonellosis, avian pox, aspergillosis and trichomonosis. This information is from Google.
Paul kindly went to The Range and bought a few strongly made, hopefully wind and rain proof, seed feeders with metal lids.
He dismantled the wooden bird table and hung the new seed feeders and mealworm feeders on the green bird feeding pole. We try to do our best to accommodate big and small garden birds.
The photo today shows Venus in the sky above silhouettes of house roofs.
I hope you have enjoyed a decent Thursday blip friends and thank you for yesterday's stars.
