I had a chat with more people today than in all of last month.  It was our turn to collect the vegetable boxes from the ferry in Craignure.  A bright sunny morning made this a pleasurable drive, even with blinding sunshine at times.  We dropped the six boxes off to individual households always with some chat and fortunately a coffee with C.  Home to see what Ted was up to, he was pleased to see us and all was well.  Later out to Tobermory for a haircut, although there was a slight issue driving out onto the road, two contractors are installing a fibre optic cable so far along the driveway.  There are four properties here, they have installed it so far today, it’s now under a manhole cover,  from this junction we wait for the rest of the installation. The two men carrying out the work quickly made it possible to drive out followed by drive into Tobermory for the haircut, today in a very lively salon.  I met neighbour P with her two shelties on the way up to see us and C and N, she had a cup of tea and we mulled over whether to go out for a fish and chip supper or have a takeaway tomorrow evening, I think it will be a takeaway, hopefully for six of us.
