Another winter tree
It was bitterly cold this morning. There was a heavy frost and a heavy mist lying over the North Tyne Valley.
It was hard to keep the house warm enough. I spent the morning trying to persuade my photo printer to print. It has been lying dormant for months, so I am not surprised that it was difficult. It seems to be nearly OK now.
It was still very cold after lunch, when I left on a mission.
As I drove to Hexham I could see a wonderful cloud inversion over the North Tyne, but there was nowhere to stop and capture it. Instead, here is a photograph taken from a layby near Wall Village. The mist was very thick.
Hexham was in sunshine. I went to the tip (always cathartic), then to Tesco for a food shop, then to see Maureen. She was brighter today. I was able to put the old SIM into her new phone and it worked (hooray).
Finally, I went to the Relate Charity shop and offloaded a few bags of "stuff".
I've managed to post a couple of blips from the Nambian adventure.
