Winter gardening

It has been bitterly cold today.

Joan came to help. She did more cleaning than I did, but we both worked productively all morning. The house looks great and I'm ready to welcome Julie when she comes here to convalesce after her total knee replacement.

Ian came and moved a bed from one room to another. Then Joan, Ian and I went to Margret's to borrow/retrieve my wheelchair, shower chair and trolley. 

I was shattered after all this and fell asleep listening to a book on Audible. I have had to retrace my steps in this book three times now!

Dick was here for the third day running. Angus does not seek to mind the cold. I gave him a new ball this week, but it is truly a bit on the big side. It doesn't stop him. I took the photo from my upstairs lounge window.
