It’s Good To Be Back, Part 2!
I went on an outing today with a friend - to the new big Thames Hospice Charity shop Home store in Maidenhead. It was a fab place where they also do up-cycling of some of the furniture donations. I believe they even do classes. My friend and I were very controlled, and only bought two small items each. I dropped off two bags full of donations.
We stopped for a walk at the same place where I went yesterday. The sky was clearer and we were just in time for the sunset (see Extra photo), but it was windy and colder than yesterday. We were dressed warmly but our cheeks were cold!
I’m trying to get back to normality after being unwell the last two months. I had pneumonia all of December, and then came down with a really bad sinus infection in early January. I’m still congested and still have a very blocked ear, but I don’t FEEL unwell. I do, however, plan to stay at sea-level for as long as it takes for the ear to clear. I’m enjoying the lengthening days - more hours in the day to get out for some much-needed exercise!
