Bulwarks Lane, Oxford

I went to Oxford on the train today - to meet up with a friend visiting from the US. It’s been a long time since I’d been there so it was good to visit. Sadly, my favourite restaurant (The Nosebag) has recently closed down. I’ve been going there since I was a teenager, which is more than 4 decades ago! It’s so sad to see it go! Amazingly, the lovely little card and print shop next door is still there, with the same owners. I chatted with the wife and she said they’ve been there for 50 years!

I caught sight of this lovely view while we were on our way to lunch. Bulwarks Lane, with a view of the tower at Nuffield College.
