Olivetree from Deliana

Once more an olivetree from Crete, this time from Deliana, where we gathered at our fav family taverna To Faranghi, run by Yannis and his parents. We got here with our friends, who got married September last  and with the Dutchman we met the other day; a lovely reunion for us all!

Only little before we departed, the Dutchman received a phonecall from one  in his village, that his dog had eloped and killed a sheep... (lamb, probably) and his dog was going to be killed for that... it's a hound, so not possible to keep it safe, now that it's killed once... I learned here before we seperated. Crazy for me to imagine that the hound I caressed the other day is taken for its behavior already. But that's village life, here and I suppose elsewhere too. 

Thank you all for your visits and reactions of recent; I was occupied with visits to friends here, saying goodbyes for now and till next time, later this year (Autumn, I suppose)
