David Hockney Flowers Exhibition

We decided to have a run out (in the car) to Saltaire.
First we took Bella to Robert’s Park - it was icy cold - she chased a couple of squirrels then we went to the Boat House for lunch, then we put Bella in the car for a sleep while we went to Salt’s Mill.
David Hockney’s 2025 Flowers exhibition is on. He did them on an iPad, I’m not sure how I feel about that but the pictures certainly are beautiful.
It’s just modern technology.  I know it’s still the artists own work and talent. I’m just a bit old fashioned and need to move with the times! 
I’m happy for people to convince me of this new way of being creative. Maybe I’ll even try it one day - if I could afford the iPad Pro!
Saltaire is one of my favourite places. Whenever I’m there I can’t help but imagine life in the mill. The sound of loud machinery, clogs clip clopping on the stone floors, the dust.
We are still full from our lovely lunch so we are going to have Apple Strudel (Aldi’s best!) and custard for tea! 

The Trumpet bum is bringing back plastic straws!  What a stupid idiot, it’s just tit for tat to show people he doesn’t care one iota about the environment and wildlife, he only cares about oil and big money. Grrrrr!

Going to look for a film to watch now.
