Inverness Castle

As you can see, the rennovations of this building are still in progress. It looks like they have sand-blasted it and fitted new windows. Despite its appearance is is not and never was a castle. It was built in the 1830s as a courthouse and presumably jail complex. Now it is being turned into some kind of an exhibition space. The work started during the pandemic so it is taking a long time.
