Over the tracks

I don't usually stand in the middle of a railway line to take  a picture, but today I took the risk of a squeaking, clanking train thundering towards me at 10 mph. (This is on a pedestrian crossing. There was no train.)
   The extra will be a familiar scene to most of you. It was freezing.
