These arrived in the post today. No holidays abroad this year, we’re staying in the U.K. and basing everything around two visits to Goodwood - the Festival of Speed in July and the Revival in September. We’ve always wanted to go to these events, but the stars have never aligned previously. Couldn’t decide which one to go for, so opted for a day at each - we can always go for longer in future years if one event appeals more than the other.
Obviously, hotels in the immediate area are horrendously expensive, but we’ve managed to get one for the Festival of Speed, within 30 minutes drive, for a reasonable price and are now planning what else we can do in the area. So far, Brooklands and the National Motor Museum are possibilities.
It’s shaping up to be a very car themed week away - we’ll have to look at doing different things when we book accommodation for the Revival in September…
