Well it’s Silly Saturday…

And the silliest thing is the lengths I’ll go to get a blip which includes posing for a dreadful pic of me wearing my asymetric pair of earrings.
The asymetric earrings are silly just as they are but the reason they are asymetric is even sillier. Back in 2007 I had the trip of a lifetime to Antarctica which came about because my Guernsey cousin had been one of ten who set up the original Halley station in Antarctica in 1956/57.
My trip to Antarctica started and finished in Oshuaia which is the southernmost tip of South America. When we got back I was looking through the market and found a lovely single earring. It seemed strange to offer just one earring so I asked the man whether there were I would actually have two. Now I spoke no Spanish and he spoke no English so I really had no idea what his answer was so simply assumed he meant ‘yes’! A bit silly not to check I guess because when I got home there was only one Doh! Never mind I had lost one of a pair of dream catcher earrings so paired them up. And I think they look great so not really that silly.
