Flower Friday.

( posting a day late)

After such beautiful weather yesterday we woke to a dull dismal day, with a bitingly cold east wind.

We called at Howden for a late breakfast. ( still quite full after last night’s meal)
Coffee and a delicious bacon sandwich in a lovely coffee shop. Called Badger and Bean.
Called at the butchers to pick up pies for tea, and also bought some fish from the Grimsby fish van. It was only 11am and she had almost sold out.

A good drive home. M62 not too busy.
This amaryllis has opened out while we were away. Just in time for Flower Friday.
Rather disappointing however as only two flowers.

Thank you for all the hearts and stars while we have been away.
I am now trying to catchup with everyone.
