1081 day of war
Hello, friends!
There is some extremely positive news in the country right now, more and more people are discussing possible negotiations and stopping the war in the coming months. I don't like it when the information field becomes so extremely positive without any objective facts, because all these hopes, when they don't come true, become quite painful for people. I remember what hopes we had for a counteroffensive and I remember how upset we all were when all our hopes were not realized.
But Zelenskyy looks confident enough, so I would still like to believe that he has a plan that he can implement.
Meanwhile, there have been a lot of sabotage in our city and in other cities. Russians are recruiting people and planting explosives in military and police offices, setting fire to military vehicles. We have never had such systematic sabotage, and in recent weeks they have been happening in many cities, and it is frightening because we live right next to such a facility.
Overall, this past week, we’ve been recovering from illness. It seems like we didn’t fully recover, and now that the frost has come, we’re feeling worse again. It's good that we don't have a lot of work now and have the opportunity to rest more. There are still a few weeks of winter left and I believe that in the spring everything will be much better in many ways.
I am trying to come up with more different recipes with the food we have and now I am interested in baking and learning how to make good dough for pizza, pies and bread. We've been eating vegetarian for 4 years now and winter is always a difficult time when it's hard to think of what to eat. But now I feel more confident and I'm cooking better, although I'm looking forward to the warmer months when there will be lots of cheap vegetables, not just potatoes and cabbage.
As difficult as it is now, I am looking forward to the events of this month. No matter what happens, we will at least have more information about whether this war is even possible to end and what to expect in the future.
Thank you all for your support, I really appreciate it. Also, thank you very much for your help on buymeacoffee. Thank you very much!
