Diary of an Edinburgher

A free chair and an old friend

After JR had been to the gym, and Archie and I had been for a walk, and Hazel had popped in for a chat before she went to the gym, we set off across the Links to have a look in a shop in Bruntsfield. I don't normally take a notion to buy an item of clothing, but Archie had dragged me in to this shop the other day, and I'd spotted a couple of promising things, 20% off...

DOF friendly shop, but she didn't have any doggie treats, but by handing her one to give to him, he's easily tricked. And yes, I did buy something...

We then went for a coffee in a wee place J hadn't been before. I then set off home, plenty of time to catch the national anthems of the first rugby match of today - always like to see them.

But I bumped into someone I haven't seen for AGES. Jordan used to take Archie out regularly. Then he got very busy with a baby. He now has two girls, the eldest one is in Primary 1! I've always loved this selfie of him and Archie. He'd thrown the hoop the week before and it had gone into the allotments, so he couldn't get it back, but he found it! Funny photo.

An excellent rugby afternoon, but the really Big Game is tomorrow.
