Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Sue and JR had a last dander round Bruntsfield (shops and cafes) and the French deli, so JR kindly bought me a slice of flan framboise.

I took Archie round the Links. It was very cold, but no wind, thankfully. But he had to wear his coat. He muttered and grumbled all the way. We came back in time to say cheerio to Sue, with assurances that we’d visit her (in OZ) next year… Well, not Archie - he wouldn’t like planes.

JR accompanied Sue on the bus and on the tram right to the airport. Came back with a lot of Irish rugby supporters (BIG game here on Sunday).

I watched ‘Amandaland’ the spinoff from ‘Motherland’, which, while mildly amusing in places, is not a patch on the original.

PS: Note the patched chair. Yes - caused by you-know-who… will be re-upholstered eventually…
