365 Day

Well, it’s been a year… 365 Day has arrived. I’ve managed, by hook or by crook, to complete my daily photo project without missing any days at all. The process has been great fun, and it’s a lovely routine to get into. I would certainly recommend trying this to anyone… it will improve your photography, of course, but that’s not all. The daily rhythm of hunting for an interesting photo teaches you to see the world around you, to be more present in the moment. Many people find the process of journaling daily life calming and therapeutic, and it will, at the very least, provide you with a unique window into your past.

So what’s next? I plan to continue this for as long as I can, so there probably won’t be any significant changes. I’ll still be taking pictures of anything that catches my eye, and tinkering with any new apps or techniques that come my way… so here’s to the next 365.
