Amaryllis

Two lovely objects for me, from my friend Jane in Scotland. She gave me the amaryllis one Christmas and I have managed to keep it going. And Jane drew the beautiful picture of dear Pepper, shortly before she suddenly fell ill and died, so that’s very precious.
I very nearly got the greenhouse glazing finished but at the last little triangular pane I saw that a screw fixing at the bottom of the column was interfering with one of the panes. The glass was at an angle, and so the top one wouldn’t slot in….
They will all have to come out again for a reset!!
