I’m pleased to say that there were no side effects from the out of date ingredients I used to make yesterday’s rhubarb crumble.

This morning I needed to stock up with milk for the week. First I drove to Grasmere but didn’t spot anything blippable. After parking back in Ambleside I walked past the Royal Oak where the flags were flying.There must be a sporting event on at the moment!

The breeze was cold but it was nice to have some blue sky which wasn’t in the forecast.

Posting early so that if I go for a walk I won’t be tempted to take more photos.
