A very different view

The view at 5.35 of Freckleton was very different to 3.30 this morning when I ran through the village with Matt from the Bentrend Getinvolved team.

I have not run 18.5 miles since 2011 and it wasn't part of my plan last night/this morning.

However, these guys were so inspirational the least I could do was support in any way I could.

By 3am wild horses, fire and brimstone wouldn't have stopped them: they certainly didn't need any physio at this stage.

To conclude: in the last 24 hours I have......
Run from daylight into darkness,
Run across a county border,
Run at 3 am,
Completed 18.5 miles of running for the first time on 2 years,
Met some truly inspirational people.
