More primroses

This little bunch gladdened the heart on the most disgraceful of days. In the South East the weather was just horrible and it still is now.

We braved the cold, miserable rain for a walk this afternoon spotting this little group of primroses flowering against the odds on the dirt under a hedge on the side of the pavement spattered by detritus from the road and no doubt salty spray too. Their tenacity demanded they featured on blip today.

Earlier, when it was only awful two people turned up to view the available allotment plots. They couldn’t have chosen a worse day. To my surprise they both liked the site and decided to take plots despite a considerable amount of work being required to bring them back into production.

A good evening ensued with Uketok where we had a gallop through many songs which exercised the fingers, eyes, ears and above all the grey matter.
