Rob’s bacon

After a week of curing, the bacon was ready for an hour in a very slow oven. It looks quite authentic! We will wait to try it until he gets back from a marine survey tomorrow. I am sure he will feel like a bacon sandwich in the morning!
I baked a fruit cake to take to Cornwall with us, and a few batches of shortbread…..it’s market day on Friday!
