Sign of the (past) times

I was showing friends around the Royal Courts of Justice and Rolls Building today. The RCJ was untypically quiet but the Rolls Building looked busy with a number of courts sitting. The RCJ is in the Strand, close to where it runs into Fleet Street. These signs on a nearby building recall that this was once the centre of the newspaper industry, even for a Scottish publisher. And the building next door bears the name of D.C.Thomson, the Scottish publishers of The Beano comic. I don't think any national newspaper titles are headquartered in Fleet Street any more.
