Today's the day ....................... for snowdrops

I thought I would go this afternoon and pay my annual visit to the woods near the Cumstoun Bridge, to check on whether the snowdrops had survived the winter.

Of course, they had - and they were in full flower.  Shame that the weather was so gloomy today and wasn't showing them off to full advantage - but you get the general idea.

I may well have to go back, before they disappear again - and show them in a better light ..................
