A different church

After the crowds of Notre Dame yesterday, we decided on a quieter church to visit today. The Eglise Saint Suplice is almost as big as Notre Dame, but a bit more off the tourist trail and as such it was nice and quiet and easier to wander round in a more contemplative manner. It all felt much more peaceful and spiritual.

My birthday today, so we went back to our hotel and polished off the champagne (extra), before heading out for a lovely meal nearby in a very good, relaxed restaurant. A perfect end to the day.
