A Happy Reunion!

A happy reunion…with ‘my’ lake!!

It’s been AGES since I’ve been here. Too many lurgies this winter! I can’t believe I came down with yet ANOTHER one the evening after my trip to Oxford on Tuesday. Do I have NO immune system whatsoever??

I’ve felt rubbish the last 2-3 days, but I forced myself out of the house because I was desperate for some fresh air. We’d had beautiful blue sky this morning, but by afternoon it was clouding over. Still, there was some good colour in the sky for the sunset, if not dramatic.

The walk was short, but I was out for an hour or so because I’d brought a flask of coffee and found a place to sit and enjoy the view. I’m so glad that this beautiful place is close to home. Now if we could just see some more signs of spring. This has felt like a very long winter!
