Soup is a hug in a bowl...

Today's main task was to make a large pot of ham & lentil soup and with Lola and I having the house to ourselves this afternoon, I set about chopping the veg and washing the lentils, all the while listening to my beloved Kate Bush.  It was a very meditative experience :-)

This afternoon items started arriving for my post hysterectomy survival kit - V-shaped pillow, body pillow, peppermint capsules, senokot, facial spray mist, Arnica tablets and cream.   More goodies coming tomorrow :D

D arrived back from golfing at Leven and despite it being a very cold round, he played well so was happy.  

Trying to plan my next few days as there's lots of things I want to get done before next Tuesday.  Also the pool pump is now fixed so hoping to get some hydrotherapy sessions done as I suspect it will be a few weeks before I'm ready to face that again.  

I think Lola must sense my nervousness as she's being so attentive to me.  She keeps coming up and putting her head on my knee or pawing me to pat her.  It's lovely.  Although part of her affection may have had something to do with the fact we had pizza for tea ;-)))
