Pretty House

It's been another murky weather day today. Brian had an earlier start today as he had a job interview. He thinks it went OK, so fingers crossed... He should hear next week sometime.

I did a bit of tidying up whilst he was out, and after lunch we went out for a drive to the nearby village of Nettleham. It is quite scenic in places and has some lovely houses, a church etc. This little beck actually runs over the road at one point. meaning that drivers who live the other side of it have to drive through a ford.

We called at Waitrose on the way home. Normally that place is too rich for our blood (More accurately, we are too poor to set foot in the place!), but they had a meal deal for £20 that was great value and even had good vegetarian options. Of course Brian would not eat any of the choices, so instead of being a romantic three course meal for two (with wine!) it will feed me pretty much for the next three days! I got some tea bags and a box of salad too.
