White Chimney Row

This street is in the conservation area of the village. It is narrow and winding, and runs eastwards away from the village square, taking you towards Southbourne and Nutbourne. At the far western end of the road, the village blacksmith was once located.

I regularly walk along here on the return leg of my walks with Merlin. He likes it when we go this way as we go past the bakery and the smell of the freshly baked bread.

A day of dog walks, an hour at the allotment setting up a new compost bin, and time this afternoon measuring up the fabric for Merlin’s blankets. Shakshuka for dinner.

Another grey day. Around 6 degrees centigrade.
