Dug my old sewing machine out to cut one large throw into two. This is me stitching up the raw edge.

I love watching Alan Titsmarsh’s ‘Love your Weekend’ on a Saturday’. I always admire his sofas with the cosy looking throws and cushions. Somehow I don’t seem able to get the same look. Mine just look like a blanket chucked over the sofa to protect it from the dogs. Which of course it is!

The rest of the day spent putting up the bannister. Not the five minute job we thought it would be, especially manoeuvreing a 3.6 metre pole through our small house!
