A Celebration 
of Art took us to a place
that inspired us

Our art association was off in a chartered bus at 7:30 AM this morning. We were able to leave our cars at a local church and board the bus there. We were on our way to The Celebration of Art held in the Phoenix area. 

We had about 3 hours to view the art. Artists from various locations and of a variety of mediums were juried into the show. For me, the real delight is watching artists practice their craft. I found each artist very willing to discuss and demonstrate their art form . This show has been on for several weeks each winter for more than 30 years.

The art work on display and for sale is stunning. I so enjoyed chatting with those demonstrating and I gave them high praise for the quality of their art. I have come away inspired. 

We made a stop at a favourite art supply store before departing for home. We rolled into Yuma before 8 PM. 

It made for a tiring day, but we were a merry group of painters enjoying the day out together. 

My feet may not do much tomorrow, but it was worth it!
