Channelside walk . Felt Icy today . 
Called in B& Q to get a new garden hose stand as the other had broken. 
Had to go back as the fittings were different. 

 M attached it to the outdoor tap and then realised the tap wasn't working. 

It was very ancient.   So, online to Screwfix to order a tap. Just hope the sizing hasn't changed in the last 50 + years
