Abstract Thursday: "Anything but Orange"
As Ingeborg would like "Anything but Orange" for today's AT challenge, I decided to photograph an apple instead. I went for a macro of part of an apple skin, which to the naked eye looked pretty red. However when I looked at the photo on the computer it had tinges of orange here and there, and whatever I did with colour adjustments the orange wouldn't go away completely (not without losing a lot of the detail anyway). But then I thought, "Of course, there's a Mono Month Challenge this month" and I found that it looked fine in monochrome. So here's a non-orange apple :-))
I never knew that there were so many tiny veins in an apple skin - the things we learn by doing our blips!
