Flower Friday - Valentine Rose

"Someone" gave my Editor a bunch of roses this morning for Valentine's Day (I wonder who that could have been?!). So of course they had to be used for my blip. It was a multicoloured bunch, so I placed a red one in front of the others so that the others could produce a muted colourful background.

We've had a busy few weeks so decided to allow ourselves a lazier day today: it included a walk to the local Rising Sun Country Park for coffee and a scone - the weather was a tad chilly but it didn't rain. I cooked our evening meal - a delicious 30-day-aged grass fed Abderdeen Angus rump steak with mustard-fried mushrooms, home-made oven chips and veggies washed down with a glass of vino, followed by mandarin and brown sugar roulade (OK, I didn't cook that!).

We only had small glasses of wine as we're about to finish off the day by watching a romcom film and we didn't want to fall asleep during it ;-))
