Holy trinity
Vines, pylons, and a big orange machine! I couldn't resist this, even though I have to give credit to S, because he took it for his own purposes with my camera. It's much better than any photos I took today. The context, of course is the viticulture crisis; this machine is slowly pulling up a hectare of old vines.
We started the day with a trip into Narbonne to shop at Les Halles, buying treats for tomorrow. Once the shopping was done, we sat down at the jamón stall where I'd just spent 25 euros on some bellota (250 euros a kilo ...), for a glass of wine, more (cheaper) jamón, and some pan con tomate. Very civilised and pleasant. We then stopped at Picard on the way home as in the metropolis of Narbonne we'd been unable to find a patisserie worthy of our custom. So frozen tarts it is! No need for lunch when we got home, we just had some of the bread I'd baked this morning.
Yoga this evening. We did some extremely twisty poses, but then I almost fell asleep during the yoga nidra half hour at the end. Really relaxing. S isn't home yet, because he went to a meeting about solar panels at 6 pm, and is now trapped drinking aperitifs (he's not driving).
