Engines with a soul

Visiting my brother and family in their holiday cottage, he suggested getting some shopping so he could enjoy the air conditioning in his car for a while, it was that hot. We stopped at the old station of Beekbergen, dating from 1887, where the trains from my childhood and older are being well-looked after in an engine shed, and a steam train is still running on a line of about 30 kms. Despite the heat the dedicated volunteers fired the coals and the train set off. My brother said, these engines still have a soul. They do. And we had some badly needed ice cream.
