Calla Lily

Cloudy most of the day, and now at 4pm the sun is out and its rather warm.
I've been doing some homework this afternoon....browsing Pinterest for ideas and trends. I'm doing a family photo session in the morning.....we're going to the beach (my beach), and I'm really hoping its cloudy, fingers crossed. A neighbours daughter, I did their wedding photo six years ago with the bonus of a helicopter ride up to a mountain for some of the photos.  Lovely couple, they now have two wee darling toddlers.  I do get very nervous before hand, but once photographing it is usually OK.
I had a grand morning, I was looking at blips and enjoying  NickyR blips of her photography workshop on the Isle of Skye, bringing back so many memories of our three days there.  So, out came my Photo Book (again), reading about each day and reliving those wonderful times.  Then, I went back to my blips and read the comments - the importance of blip, blip friends and photobooks. 
Over the years our photography style changes, our editing skills improve.  But generally, I still love the photos I took back in 2016.
