Beach Walkers

This is the family I photographed on the beach this morning .  I was hoping for a cloudy morning, well I certainly got that - foggy and a little damp as well.  
Anyhoo, we carried on, they didn't care about the weather, the little ones weren’t still for a moment and it was hard to get anything decent really.  The Mum and Dad wanted fun, natural photos and that is what they got.  Hope there are some that are OK...I think there will be, having had a quick browse through them.
Then it was home to have a quick shower, tidy myself up a bit before we were off to our besties (and groomsman) 80th birthday luncheon.  The weather perked up and became very very hot.  We sat outside under umbrellas and a pergola thing;  served continuous foods and beverages from their teenage grandchildren, which we know well.  Enjoyed catchups with some whom we hadn’t seen for a while, it was a relaxed and lovely afternoon.
Home at 6pm, we don't need an evening meal as we have grazed all afternoon.
We're both weary.
