if I was a better photo journalist i would have hefted my camera over the heads of the queue to take pictures of the, often foreign, tourists bedecked in Gryffindor scarves posing at the handle of the trolley which is embedded in a specially constructed wall. And helpfully alongside a Harry Potter shop. The queue was even bigger this evening
I made use of being in London overnight to go to Cambridge to have lunch at the very delicious Sticks n’ Sushi with writer and friend Sarah Phelps. We caught up and laughed a lot and planned to do something together again. I then walked across Midsummer Common to see a very old friend who is going through something very sad. I sat with them all for an hour, had tea and held one of the babies. The other of twins didn’t wake up for a cuddle.
Caught a train home around 5.30 and via London was smoothly home by 8 ish.
