The Heart Tree

It was a dicey, icy start, but later, it turned into a decent day for errands in town that included a fasting blood test for my husband (no fun, believe me), a tasty lunch at McDonald's, and a bit of shopping. 

I hit Bath & Body Works at the Nittany Mall to get a freebie with a coupon, and buy a favorite foaming soap scent at deep discount. On our way home, we stopped at Way Fruit Farm for what was most definitely an odd combo of things: onions, gummi worms, and Pez.

The McDonald's visit featured two $5 meal deals, one for each of us: a burger, fries, some nuggets and ranch dip, iced tea. My husband, the previously starving man, waxed eloquent about how delicious everything was, and he was right.

Here is a picture of the heart tree in the McDonald's, put there for Valentine's Day, of course. I liked the way it looked and it seemed quite festive, so this is my blip for the day. :-)
