Yellow Rose

My parents had their birthdays four days apart in the middle of February. Although it's 30+ years since they died, I still buy flowers for the house in the middle of February to remember them......and handily there's lots around as it's Valentine's Day! My mum's favourite flowers were yellow roses and I bought a lovely bunch of fourteen of them this year from Tesco. I tried photographing all the roses together in the vase, then a single rose photo stacked, but I ended up preferring the close up of the centre of a single rose. I read that yellow roses are the symbol of friendship. I've been feeling incredibly tired today, after having a sore throat last night, so I've done very little. I did renew my car insurance despite the huge 40% price hike as I couldn't be bothered to shop around with not feeling great, but I did get 5% off.
