Valentine’s Day, Boaby style……..

Mrs F got her usual Valentine treat this morning. A card, some snowdrops cut from down at the burn at 6.30 am and a chocolate thieved from her box in the kitchen cupboard !
But it’s the thought that counts….
The contractors in mucking out a couple of sheds today. They were away by 1 pm and I had the shed here bedded , gates and feed barriers up and cattle back in by 2 pm.
Kev on mucking out and bedding cows and calves as well , but our 10 ton trailer loads were dwarfed by the big boys toys.
Boaby well in truly in the bad books tonight as the kero tank has run dry so no heating , hot water or Aga. Did manage to order more fuel , hopefully delivery on Monday.
Spent a while cutting and splitting some logs and now Mrs F has the log burner going in the wee living room. Hopefully I’ll be forgiven once the kero arrives , we shall see.
