Maspalomas dunes

Impressive dunes, but surrounded by rather less inspiring development. We had a little swim in the Atlantic and lunch overlooking the dunes nonetheless.

I can thoroughly recommend Gran Canaria. If you want to find a resort or village and not move around much the island caters for all tastes. But if you want to explore, I would highly suggest one of your group enjoys rally driving. I have honed my skills this week!
