FLOWERS FOR VALENTINES DAY

An early start for me as I had an appointment at the dentist this morning.  Walked down to the village and saw my dentist Kerry.  The filling on one of my front top  teeth had come off and needed replacing. Its a tricky place to fill and the end result isn't  entirely successful - there's still a bit of a gap which I will have to live with I guess.  No charge for the treatment today as its within the 6 month period since she replaced the filling last time.

Next I got a bus to Swalwell and did some shopping in LIdl.  Then another bus to Winlaton to go and visit Neil.  I usually go to see him in the afternoon but I had told him I would arrive in the morning today.  However when I got to his house neither he nor Luna were there.  Instead I found two cleaning ladies going about their work. I was surprised to see them... and they were surprised to see me.  They informed me Neil had taken Luna out so they could get on with the cleaning. I messaged Neil and hung around -  trying to not be in the way of the cleaners  - till he returned.  He had forgotten I would be there so early.

After the cleaners had gone Neil and I had a catch up.  We message each other every day but it was nice to actually see him.  He wasn't too busy with work so he was free to chat. Then he turned the TV on to watch ladies cricket from India.   It was The Women's Premier League (WPL)  -  India's premier T20 cricket tournament for women.

So I left Neil in front of the TV and headed to the bus station to catch a bus to the Metrocentre.  Did some shopping in M & S and Poundland.  I got some extra shopping today as the forecast for tomorrow is snow and ice so I may not want to  leave the house.

I don't have any flowers at home so took some photos of some of the flowers in a bouquet Neil gave to Rachael.  And the little Valentine mouse is one of my collection of Annalee dolls.  Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.   Happy Valentines Day to all my blip friends.
