Dolly's Day

TINO

The predicted snow/ice didn't materialise... but it wasn't a very nice day at all.  Very dull and dismal... and cold.  So I just stayed indoors trying to keep warm.  Nothing much was achieved but that's OK.  Caught up with some TV viewing... mainly The Apprentice.

Listened to the match on the radio this afternoon.  Newcastle were playing away against Manchester City... 3pm kick off.  One of the commentators described the match as " Manchester Misery " for Newcastle.  ... and it really was.  By half time Man. City had scored 3 goals. ( a  hat - trick from Omar Marmoush) and Newcastle had scored none.  In the second half Man. City scored another and the final score was 4 - 0 to the home team.  A very disappointing result.  Most of the Newcastle players had a very poor game.  Players who usually play well didn't today.  A game best forgotten and we must look forward to the next one and hope for a better result,

Ive blipped my boy Tino.  He's sitting on my heated knee pad. If he notices I'm using it while I'm sitting at the computer he will stand on the table  behind me and yowl and grab my clothes with his claws to get my attention.  He won't stop till he gets his way and I put the pad on the table so he can sit on it.  I leave it plugged in and warm for a while - then switch it off.  If it goes cold he will move back to his bed..... and I can try using it again... hoping he won't notice.
