Mead for each other

A return trip to Children's Assessment for Owen this morning and a change of dressing for his ear, although it is looking much better than it was on Sunday. At first the suggestion was for another return on Friday to assess again but, thankfully, the consultant was happy with the way it looked and just granted us open access in case we need it...let's hope not.

Today is actually the anniversary of our first date-that-wasn't-actually-a-date and so we managed to find time later in the evening to sit down together for a meal and a glass of mead, finishing off the Christmas mead, as that's one of the -many- drinks we had that day, so long ago.
