Thank you

James sent me a picture of the letter he received from Maggies - thanking us for the donations made in Aimee's memory.  Over £5000 for this amazing charity.  It made me happy and sad at the same time.

Today was a nice day with 1:1 with No.2 who had come down to get his car MOT'd. We have used the same garage for our cars for 30+ years and they are a small local garage who always do a great job.  He dropped his car off at 9.00 and didn't leave until gone 4.00 which is very unusual.  It was good to have some time together and we chatted and laughed.  He has always been very open and honest with me (sometimes more than I would like to hear but I suppose I should be grateful that he is happy to treat me like a confidente?). I showed him the box of cards that I had sorted out and the ones that I had kept from Aimee to him.  However he is not very sentimental and think he will be happy for me to keep them and he will eventually get them when I go........and then he will probably put them in a skip!!

OH was visiting SIL to sort out MIL's finances which are rapidly being paid to the care home - scary how much has been spent in the last 12 months.

OK day.
