Mosaic

I’ve been taking it really easy today under strict instructions of the Eye Surgeon and the watchful eye of Mauzee (pardon the pun!!). I realised I didn’t have an image for today’s blip so I headed out onto the deck to take yet another view of the river and the ocean in the glorious late afternoon light.  I decided instead to take a photo of the top of our table on the deck.  It’s a wonderfully colourful mosaic table top and it was created by the wife of our neighbour who had sadly passed away before we arrived in Augusta.  Mauzee came by the table by chance in an op shop in Augusta and was delighted to find out that it was one of Mrs Stones.  Her son and daughter-in-law are friends of ours and they were thrilled that we loved it so much.  It makes me smile every time I sit at the table.
