From the Deck!

Our garden in Augusta is very different to the sprawling natural bush of Wombat Hollow in the Blue Mountains.  It is however a lot less to look after and we’re delighted that many of the natives that we planted a couple of years ago are now doing really well and definitely attracting more birds to the garden.  They were flying into the garden in droves this morning.  Most are the little honey eaters.  It’s been another glorious day in Augusta today but very scary fires  in Dunsborough north of the Margaret River have seen many people evacuate their homes.  They must be on edge tonight, it’s a very anxious time for them.
